F&ICoatFrench & Indian War/Revolutionary War Regimental Coats

The regimental coat workshop will feature revised coat patterns based on current research. Kits will be available cut from Kochan-Phillips military textiles to the preferred pattern (French & Indian War British or Provincial; Revolutionary War British, Continental “Lottery Coat”, etc.) in whatever coat body and facing colors are available, with participants to supply any specialty buttons or lace.

  • Date: February 28-March 1, 2015
  • Instructor: Henry Cooke, Historical Costume Services
  • Class Size: 15 students
  • Class Cost: $200.00; No extra charge for couples working on same garment
    • Introductory lecture
    • Two days hands-on instruction
    • Regimental coat kit (excludes buttons and lace)
    • Handouts with documentation and instructions
    • Continental breakfast each morning
    • Boxed lunch including sandwiches, chips, soft drinks and cookies both days.
  • Materials Cost: Sizes 38-46: $250.00; Sizes 48-52+:$280.00
